Come out to get an exclusive preview of the film while we are still in post production.
An Exclusive Advance Screening…
“God Said Give Em Drum Machines” tells the story behind one of Detroit’s great contributions to world culture: techno, the electronic-music phenomenon created by Afro American artists in the 1980s that exploded across Europe, transformed dance music and blossomed into a multibillion-dollar industry. Techno brought people together on dance floors around the world, but its original creators — Juan Atkins, Derrick May, Kevin Saunderson and others — still struggle for their rightful place in music history. This special rough cut screening of “God Said Give ‘Em Drum Machines” will provide an early look at the film as it reaches the final stages of post production.
