Eddie “Flashin” Fowlkes
Eddie started dj’ing in high school and briefly attended business college before turning full-time DJ. He became known as Eddie “Flashin’ Fowlkes” for his quick mix mastery, at times performing with three turntables, a mixer and drum machines. Eddie’s first single “Goodbye Kiss”, was released in 1986 on Juan Atkins’s label, Metroplex Records.
In the 1990s, Eddie signed with German label Tresor and hit the dance club charts with “Let Us Pray” the rest is history.
